I’ve made some changes to this blog. I spend a good part of my day writing, creating, and (most importantly) learning. Thought leadership requires lots of research.

I adore learning. I’m always curious and will frequently find myself tripping down the Wikipedia rabbit hole.

Tracking my learning – especially in ways the learning best builds into my creating – has been messy. I use a host of apps, google docs, bookmarks, and the like. Those are fine tools. But I need a summative experience to help my brain to find structures.

As such, I’ve added a new category to edlightenment. I’m tracking the randomness of learning I encounter on any given day or week. I don’t expect such posts to be incredibly enlightening (and as such, I’m chunking them out of the main blog flow), but it will serve as a public place for my journey.

Perspective

I didn’t really know Sarah until January. We both had vague memories of our time in Brazil 30 years ago (“You always had a backpack” she would remember, which sounds about right. “You were tall and loved to dance” I would remember. Which also right.) No matter. She was part of the most amazing (and exceptionally eclectic) crew of former Rotary Exchange Students participating in our reunion this year. And everyone loved her.
