Back in 2012 I wrote a post called “Rumblings on Future Ideas of a District Portal.” The headaches of education software were readily apparent even then. We could do better.

This morning Chris and I were the first in the office. Downtown Cincinnati. Quietly creating quality experiences for educators and students. An idea that turned into a side project that turned into big project that turned into a business.

Pretty cool.

This is a long way from the history teacher days. But awesome.

Life’s a journey.

I didn’t really know Sarah until January. We both had vague memories of our time in Brazil 30 years ago (“You always had a backpack” she would remember, which sounds about right. “You were tall and loved to dance” I would remember.
